This is how a corner store uses Vuelto, hour by hour.
6:00The store opens
Open the register
Write down what you start with, for example ₡20,000. From then on, Vuelto keeps track of the cash that should be in the drawer.

Scan or tap the product
The scanner types only where it should. Items without a code, like sweet bread, are sold as Misc. with F10.
12:15Lunchtime line
Charge however they pay
Tap the bill they hand you and the change shows up instantly. SINPE Móvil and card in one step. Exact cash? F8.

Hand back the change, big and clear
No mental math with a line waiting. Cash is rounded to ₡10, because the ₡5 coin is no longer in circulation.

Check it and confirm
You check that the SINPE came in and confirm with F9. Vuelto records it apart from cash. It does not connect to your bank.

See how much you have sold
Reports show the day: how much you sold, how many sales you made and how people paid, in cash, SINPE or card.

Close the register balanced
Count the drawer, review and confirm. Vuelto tells you if there is extra, if something is short or if it matches exactly, and keeps SINPE apart.

Products
Since July 1, 2026 the ₡5 coin is out of circulation. Vuelto rounds cash to ₡10 (you can switch to ₡5 or turn rounding off). SINPE and card are charged exactly.

Choose which products you keep count of and which you don’t. Daily bread or loose eggs always sell, never “out of stock”.

Each shift belongs to whoever opens it. If you want, cashiers count without seeing the expected amount, and voids or returns ask for your password. All optional.

Do I need internet to sell?
No. Vuelto sells, charges and closes the register without internet. It needs it to activate the trial, to check the license now and then and, if you issue e-invoices, to send them to Hacienda.
What computer does it run on?
A Windows 10 or 11 64-bit computer. It installs like any program and keeps everything on that computer.
Does it work with my barcode scanner and printer?
Scanners that type like a keyboard work right away. For receipts, Vuelto prints to network receipt printers or through Windows printing. Try yours during the 30 days before deciding.
Can I bring my products from another system?
